A twilight of hope
The dust of snow on a New York road
Takes me back a year ago
When the trams were full with people board
And the streets were filled with winter snow
That joyful show has a change of mood
The virus grows, while people brood
I wake up to the morning dew
To see the lonely crow counting corpses new.
The wailing cries of those alive
Filled with questions of their lives…
‘Think of Noah and his ark
Who went steadfast in light and dark’.
