A visit to a French Patisserie!

This story, written by Disha, will carry a French version. The story is meant for middle schoolers studying the French language (Grade 7 and upwards). Stay glued for the French version!

One day, after doing too much shopping, I was feeling extremely tired and hungry. I wanted to eat something sweet! Suddenly, I saw the sign of a french patisserie called “Bon Appetit”. My friends had told me that it was one of the best patisseries in the city!

The aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries was very good and appetizing, so I decided to have my lunch here.

I saw many pastries like croissants, eclairs, macarons, mille feuille, opera cake, tarte tatin, madeleines, petits fours etc. I bought my favourites- a croissant, some macarons and a chocolate eclair.

They were absolutely delicious! I savoured every bite. I think it’s the best patisserie in the world!

I bought some madeleines for my mother and sister for their evening tea and left with a happy smile and stomach!
