Cyberbullying
Digital Dangers
Cyberbullying is when someone is mean to another person on the internet. Imagine if a friend started calling you names or teasing you every day at school. That would make you feel really bad, right? Well, cyberbullying is just like that, but it happens online, like on social media.
Hurtful Words
People might say hurtful things, spread rumors, or share embarrassing pictures of others. When this happens, the person being bullied can feel really sad, lonely, or even scared. Sometimes, they might feel like they’re stuck in a dark, deep hole of sadness called depression.
Stand Strong Together
But remember, nobody has to face cyberbullying alone. If you or someone you know is being bullied online, it’s important to tell an adult. They can help make the bullying stop and find ways to make the person who was bullied feel better. Friends can also show support and remind each other that everyone deserves respect and kindness, both online and in the real world.
