Have you noticed?

Have you noticed that forest fires are increasing, glaciers are melting and you are feeling warmer than usual? Why is this happening?

Well, our Mother Earth is feeling uneasy because of Anthropogenic activities and Global warming is one of her signs of the discomfort.

Global warming is the most pressing issue of our times.

It is the reason of all the sufferings which could one day lead to unimaginable destruction, if not controlled.

But what is Global warming exactly?

In scientific terms, Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of the earth. Excess of anything is wrong, in this case, the excess of greenhouse gases, especially Carbon dioxide.

But, how urgent and important is this for us humans?

We can see the effects of Global warming in our day to day life. We see forest fires in which diverse animal and plant life is killed. Glaciers are melting resulting in rising sea levels. And this is just the start. The situation will become even more dangerous as Permafrost begins to melt,  releasing unbelievable amounts of trapped greenhouse gases as well as undiscovered strains of disease-causing bacteria and viruses.

How to solve this problem?

Our single biggest priority should be to reduce the atmospheric level of Carbon Dioxide.

At a personal level, we should start by reducing our own Carbon footprint by consuming less and burning as little fossil fuels as possible.

We should reverse Carbon Dioxide by replacing it with Oxygen. This means planting more trees which act as a Carbon sink. Beyond our personal level, we should push communities,  society and governments to develop sustainable solutions for all aspects of our lives such as, Energy, Food, Agriculture, Living, Traveling, Work etc.

So, let’s contribute little by little, and also big by big, and defeat this devil which is created by us only.
