My Expressions

Gone are the days when we would go to school,

A building of learning that was so cool.

Gone are the days when my teacher would greet me each day,

Come to the class, amongst us with a happy face.

Gone are the days when we would sit together in the class,

That was a place where we would have fun doing our tasks.

Gone are the days when we would play in the main field

Sitting ourselves at home, we find ourselves completely sealed!

Gone are the days when we would have our meals together

Cafeteria, indeed, was a place where we had our time of leisure.

Going to the library was so much fun

Sitting and reading there, was something we enjoyed a ton!

Playing sports made us active and smart

Doing yoga helped us all to have a healthy heart.

Learning music kept us cheerful and alive

Our Art teachers facilitated us to design.

I wish we could go back to school someday

And figure a way out soon, without a delay!!
