At first, I want to share the video of the UN on International Women’s Day 2020! And then don’t miss reading my poem for all you lovely teachers!

As the world always preferred men over women,
So many women had to battle for their worth
That they were as strong as men,
And as smart to go beyond them.

Mother Teresa, Madam Curie, Kalpana Chawla,
Saina Nehwal, Angela Merkel
And many, who have shone like the sun,
Their success stories are known to everyone

Some may not be privileged, but had a strong will,
They fought prejudices to go uphill
They worked with passion and grit,
They have won the hearts of everyone with their honesty and wit.

Now here is an ode to the precious Women behind other Successful Women

But behind every successful story, there’s a teacher,
In this world, they are the most beautiful creature.
A person who taught and corrected them,
Teachers are present in our life as a gem.

A teacher may be harsh but that’s for your own good,
They will always be there for you all your childhood.
As truly said that a teacher is your second mother,
She’ll show her care by making us work harder.

She’s a true idol of women,
Who proves that their place is in heaven.
I appreciate how they make us move, the right way,
And I wish them Happy International Women’s Day.
