‘MERA SUNDAY, CRICKET KE LIYE’

Karthika Jithesh, 10th Grader from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur, is running a series of poems on cricket and cricketers every Sunday with us. We are very sure, you all will enjoy and relate to the players and Karthika!

A name which rose slowly,

But the one which contributed runs like a flowing river.

A man, who can keep wickets ;

The one who can bat at  any spot ;

And captain you team too.

A copious batsman;

Whose expertise changed his life.

The one who can play all the shots ;

Having safe hands as a fielder too.

Perhaps, every day is his day ;

Smashing the ball up to him.

A rising star, who will turn to a legend tomorrow,

Gaining support from his team, his fans ;

Has Spun him to the one he is today.

A name heard these days,

Will surely turn to a chant tomorrow.

And one such name, Personality is K.L.RAHUL
