Here is a lovely poem and a sketch by Subaina Singha Roy from Shikshantar School, Gurgaon. The 6th grader shares her mixed feelings on life right now.

There’s a virus going on
called CoVid19,
It’s like an invisible enemy
As it can’t be seen!

It has spread worldwide
As it catches on so fast,
But because of the lockdown
Air pollution is much better than in the past!

Besides the virus part, we’re having fun anyway
We get to spend time together each & every day!
There’s a bunch of pros & cons
And they’re equally good or bad
But this CoVid 19 has kept the whole world sad!

Although we talk to friends
Every now & then
This virus makes 0% people happy
On a scale of 1 to 10!

We hope things get normal again
As we’re all home-arrested until then!
To break the chain & get rid of this pain
Social distance is what we need to maintain!
