A therapy dog brings comfort to medical workers

A therapy dog brings comfort to medical workersCurrently, the United States has been the most affected place by the COVID-19 disease. Many health workers such as doctors, nurses, etc are working overtime in hospitals all over the US.

This is a very difficult time for health workers but a dog named Wynn is bringing them some joy and comfort.

Wynn is a one-year-old yellow Labrador who is currently training to be a service dog. Service dogs are dogs trained to assist people with disabilities.
 	Wynn is currently being trained by Susan Ryan, a doctor in a hospital in Denver, US.
 	Susan often takes Wynn to the hospital and enjoys spending time with him during her break because he is such a joyful and comforting dog.
 	So, she decided to set up a special room, where other hospital staff can also play with Wynn and take a break. In the room, lights are dimmed and meditation music plays to provide the best place for medical staff to take a little mental break before returning to their work.

Even something small like this can help to bring joy during stressful times and Wynn is spreading a lot of joy around the hospital.

Of course, not to worry, everybody makes sure to wash their hands before and after they come in contact with Wynn.
