Amazing nature
Can you imagine seeing a frog as big as a human baby?
A giant frog of this size recently shocked villagers in the Solomon Islands. These islands are located in the western South Pacific Ocean, located near Australia.
The villagers found the frog while hunting for wild pigs. A picture of this frog has gone viral on social media as everyone is amazed by its size.
Amazing nature
This is a type of frog known as a Cornufer guppyi or the giant webbed frog. Locals call it “bush chicken”. They often eat the frogs for food.
Experts believe this to be the largest water frog found in the Solomon Islands. However, this frog seems to be even bigger than normal. So, experts think that it must be old.
Frogs in danger
Sadly, today, these frogs are getting less in number due to pollution and the loss of forests.
