Beyond Fried Chicken @ KFC – Where’s my bucket of nuggets?
This story made me run to the nearest Kentucky Frie(n)d Chicken (KFC) outlet and ask for a bucket of nuggets. I was disappointed, to say the least, as KFC has come up with plant-based protein nuggets in some states in the United States (US). They are calling this offering Kentucky Friend Miracle, we at Curious Times are already in love with it.
Plant-based chicken, say what?
So, what exactly is plant-based or non-meat chicken? Well, firstly it tastes, smells and looks like meat but it is not your actually meat – i.e. stuff you get by beheading a chicken or lamb – you get the point. It’s actually an imitation, a healthier alternative. If the little ones do want to try, you do get non-meat chicken products on Amazon India and you should check it out.
Beyond Fried Chicken, India awaits!
We would love for KFC to come up with something similar at their India outlets. There’s nothing better than the crunchy sound of nuggets dipped in a generous offering of honey mustard with a cold coke to quench your hunger. Till the time this becomes a reality, we just need to be patient and wait. Good things happen to those who wait, well most of the time! Stay safe, warm and keep learning kids!
