BrahMos – Fastest Supersonic Missile

On January 12, 2022, our naval defence team successfully test-fired an advanced version of the BrahMos Missile. Before I take the story further, for our kids – “Un Dos, Tres” is One, Two and Three in Spanish. The words were made famous by Ricky Martin in a song by the same name.

Coming back to the story at hand, this isn’t any other run of the mill missile but one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world. What that means is that it is faster than the speed of sound.  What’s even cooler about BrahMos is that it can be launched from land, air, underwater or even your kitchen. 🙂

To protect our citizens

Well, as a country trying to protect its 1.3 billion citizens it’s pretty cool to have the latest and greatest in defence. Also, it’s important to test our defence systems so that any errors can be identified before it’s too late. We mean, we don’t want any errors when we are fighting someone. Well, at Curious Times we are peace-loving but at the same time, we believe when it’s time to fight, our country will make it rain hell. Methinks speaking about missiles has me fired up a little bit.

Moolah!

Not only to protect our own citizens but the Philippines has also agreed to buy these supersonic babies from us. Moolah! How cool is that? Our heartiest congratulations to the team at BrahMos.
