Recommended for Middle Grades

Turning delicious food from waste, believe it!

So kids, what’s common between a good dish and a dish made from a good dish? Tricky is it? Well, both the good dishes will make you feel good! It’s truly an honour for us to introduce you to Chef Davinder Kumar. As President of the Indian Culinary Forum, if you ever dream of becoming a chef, he is your hero.

Dreamer

Well, he also holds a key position at the famous Le Meridien in the Food and Beverage (F&B) department. Not only is he a remarkable chef but he is extremely conscious and aware of being environment friendly. At Curious Times, we love people who love our environment.

À Paris

As a 20-year-old he started young and with dreams in his eyes, he studied at the Ecole Hôtelière de Paris. I know a thing or two about the French language and I can tell you, the French are extremely passionate about their food.  Chef Davinder continued his journey and with hard work, dedication, and laser-sharp focus, now nearly 50 years later has come up with a book “Second Meals”.

Second Meals

In his book, he has come up with smart ways to turn leftover meals into delicious dishes. From fruit peels to seeds to stems, lip-smacking food keeps your taste buds satisfied. His recipe lives up to the expectations of keeping it simple and easy. Stay healthy, wise, and safe and keep learning!
