Englishman Bob Weighton is officially world’s oldest man

Englishman Bob Weighton is officially world’s oldest manRobert 'Bob' Weighton has been officially confirmed as the world's oldest man by Guinness World Records.

Bob turned 112 years old on 29 March this year. He lives in the United Kingdom (UK).

Due to the social-distancing rules during this time, the Guinness World Records could not present the certificate to him in person. But his neighbours sang 'happy birthday' to him from their balconies.

Bob was born on 29 March 1908 in the UK.
 	He worked as an engineer and has also lived in Taiwan and Toronto (Canada).
 	Bob's wife Agnes passed away a while ago but he has 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
 	Nowadays, Bob makes miniature (small toy) wooden windmills that he sells and gives the money to charity.

Bob says he never expected to reach this record but is happy that he has lived so long and made so many friends.
