India beat England by 7 runs

Yesterday was the third and last ODI match between England and India. It was a thrilling, closely contested match but India came out on top.

India beat England by 7 runs. This means India won the ODI series 2-1.

India batted first, scoring 330 runs. England’s Sam Curran hit an amazing 95 runs to keep England in the match. But in the end, England could not chase the total.

The Player of the Match was Sam Curran, while the Player of the Series went to England’s Jonny Bairstow.

Due to COVID-19, the entire ODI series was played without spectators.

With this win, India defeated England in all three formats this year. India earlier had won the Test series 3-1, as well as the T20I series 3-2.

As of now, India stands top of the ICC (International Cricket Council) ODI table.
