  • Smurfs are little blue human-like creatures that live in a small village with mushroom houses hidden within a forest.

  • Smurfs can live for hundreds of years. For example, Grandpa Smurf is more than 1000 years old.
  • In the story, Smurfs are often chased by an evil wizard who wants to use them to turn other metals into gold. It is also said that their blue skin cures every human illness.
  • Because of this, they have to be alert and stay safe. However, they do get into trouble a lot.
  • Today, Smurfs have become very popular. There are many films, video games, theme parks, and dolls based on them.
