Remembering Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan!

On May 13, 2022, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who had served as both the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, passed away. Since November 3, 2004, Sheikh Khalifa has been President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. 

He was the 16th Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the second President of the United Arab Emirates. 

Legacy of Sheikh Khalifa!

  • Sheikh Khalifa has made a lot of changes to both the Administration and the government of Abu Dhabi (UAE).
  • He has helped the people attain a good standard of living. Sheikh’s main focus was on the well-being of UAE citizens and residents.
  • Sheikh Khalifa was in charge of developing the oil and gas sector as well as other important sectors of the economy.
  • Under his leadership, a number of projects related to housing, education, and social services were undertaken and completed for the well being of the UAE citizens.
  • Sheikh Khalifa was known for his ability to understand how other people felt, for being humble, and for caring deeply about the problems of his people.
  • He was well-known and liked in the UAE and other countries in the area. He often reached out to people directly, mostly through official missions but also in other ways.
