The Dogphone will allows pooches to “call” their owners

A dogphone?

Ever wondered what your pupper is up to when you are in school, or busy playing with your friends?  Does it miss you and wouldn’t it be cool if it could call you? Well, a scientist from the University of Glasgow, Scotland has developed such a device and it is called Dogphone.

This is an electronic device that is fitted in a tennis ball, and the tennis is placed within a softball. When the dog plays or shakes the softball, a  sensor triggers a video call from a nearby laptop to its owner.

Of course, just like ‘Fetch’ or any other game, you need to train your dog on how to use the Dogphone. However, you can consider yourself lucky, if your dog is a coolie, poodle, labrador, or german shepherd. These dogs are known for being intelligent and learning things fast.

At the beginning, calls from your dog might seem accidental but eventually it’s bound to create a level of interest.

Although the phone technology for animals is still new, we don’t know what will in the future. The era of celebrity Pawtubers and Pawfluencers just might be closer than we think!
