Today, let us discuss the invention of one of its key symbols, which is ZeRo (0). Zero is an important invention of India. It gave a new direction to mathematics and made it more meaningful.

Zero is a symbol for the concept of having nothing. However, it allows us to do mathematics.
 	Before it was developed, people struggled to perform the simplest calculations.
 	But today, zero both as a numeric symbol and a concept helps us to do maths.
 	It helps in solving complicated equations and is the basis of the computer.
 	All data in a computer system consists of binary information, which is 0 and 1.

What is the history of zero?

Zero was fully developed in India around the fifth century CE.
 	It was first found written in the Bakhshali manuscript.
 	This manuscript contains hundreds of zeros in the form of dots. At that time, it was only used as a placeholder digit for building large numbers like 101, 1100 etc.
 	Brahmagupta, a scholar and mathematician in CE 628 first time defined zero and its operation.
 	Then, Aryabhatta a great Indian mathematician and an astronomer used zero in the decimal system. For his great contributions, India named its first satellite Aryabhata.
