Two rare baby Javan rhinos born in IndonesiaDo you know what a rhino is? A rhino or rhinoceros is a huge plant-eating animal that has tough skin and horn. Today, there are 5 types of rhinos in the world. And they are found in parts of Africa and Asia (including India).

Sadly, today all rhinos are endangered. This means there are very few of them. Hunters kill them for their horns, which some people believe can cure illness. So, governments protect them.
Javan rhinos
One of the world's rarest animals is the Javan rhino. Today, it lives only in the Ujung Kulon national park in Indonesia. Recently, officials at the park saw two new baby Javan rhinos. This has made everyone very happy.

Today, there are only about 73 Javan rhinos left and they are highly endangered. So, it is wonderful to see new babies alive and well. Experts think that the two baby rhinos are between three months and one year old.
