Bird’s funny landing caught live on camera

When we think of birds, we think of beautiful creatures that fly gracefully across the skies. But sometimes, even they can make mistakes too.

Recently, a royal albatross bird was caught live on camera landing very clumsily. The video has gone viral.

The bird’s funny landing

The video begins with a fluffy baby chick looking out over the sea. Soon, from the left side, an adult bird starts landing.

But, the landing fails as the bird tumbles forward, face first and flips onto its back. It rolls around on the ground for a bit before it can stand up again and fly away.

This video was taken live by the Royal Cam at the Taiaroa Head nature reserve in New Zealand. As now is the season when many baby birds are born, the Royal Cam records the birds all day and night.

But don’t worry, albatrosses are known for their clumsy landings. So, this may not have been so embarrassing for the bird.
