Watch a video: The world’s tallest sandcastle is in DenmarkIf you want to see the world’s tallest sandcastle, you can head over to the country of Denmark in Europe.

A team of more than 30 people have built it in the town of Blokhus. The sandcastle stands 21.16 metres high. That's taller than 3 giraffes! They have built it with almost 5000 tonnes of sand.

This sandcastle is more than 3 metres taller than the previous "world's tallest sandcastle" built in Germany in 2019. They have used some clay and glue to make it stronger and stop it from falling apart.

The sandcastle looks a bit like the pyramids of Egypt. And the top part shows the coronavirus wearing a crown. The creators said that they wanted to show how the coronavirus has affected the world since the beginning of the pandemic. It also has other local features of the town, such as beach houses and lighthouses.

The castle will remain there as it is, probably till next February or March.
