Zoe Backstedt: youngest cycling champion

Let’s meet the youngest cycling star.

Zoe Backstedt is a 17-year-old cyclist from Europe.

The young girl admits that she hated cycling in the beginning. Everyone in her family, including her parents and elder sister, are trained cyclists At the age of 11, she realised that she wanted to do cycling.

Zoe Backstedt and her sister are trained at Cardiff cycling club. The girl believes that as long as she will have fun, as long as she will ride her best, she will get good results.

Her achievements

Zoe Backstedt is the Junior Road Race World Champion and she won a gold medal. She won a silver medal in the time trial at the junior world championship. The young girl is the European junior cyclo-cross champion and also the junior cyclo-cross world cup winner.

What is cyclo-cross world cup?

Cyclo-cross world cup is a season-long competition in cyclo-cross. It is organized by the Union Cycling Internationale.

Recently, Zoe Backstedt became the youngest winner of the women’s elite cyclocross race in Belgium.

The young girl is surely an inspiration to many people with her passion and love for cycling.
