Our Unaffected Pride
I don’t seek your sympathy,
I don’t seek your attention.
I just want your acceptance,
I just want your affection.
You accept all the varied bright colours in the rainbow,
You smile at them with your eyes and your lips forming that curve.
Then why can’t you accept the varied colours of people.
Why do you give me that stare, that hatred, that reflection in your eyes?
I may have a different choice; but that land from which you rose, is the same from which we rise.
You find ways to suppress us, you seek competition.
But even if we lose, we know that at least we tried.
Cause losing doesn’t reflect our intentions, it doesn’t affect our PRIDE.
