Oh! the Places You’ll Go
won’t happen this year
You are not allowed to go far,
you must stay near

School is canceled due to a
COVID bug
No seeing teachers, no giving
a hug

2020 is a year you won’t soon
forget
So much out of your control,
so much to fret

We have learned a lot, and
grew even more
And thru it all, I knew you
would soar

You’ve been brave and
embraced the challenges
each day
Which has left me with
nothing but this to say

Oh! the Places You’ll Go in the
years ahead
But not today, so go back to
bed!`
