Rules for Post Submission

This story, written by Disha, will carry a French version. The story is meant for school students studying the French language (Grade 6 and upwards). Stay glued for the French version!

Riya and Raghav love shopping. Today they’re in a mall because they want to buy gifts for their friend’s birthday. They walk around the mall to find the perfect gift for their friend, Sam.

First of all, they go to a boutique. Riya buys a skirt for herself and Raghav buys a belt. They find nothing for Sam because they forget his shirt size.

Then they go to the bookstore. There, they buy many books for themselves but, again, they couldn’t find a gift for Sam because they forget the name of his favorite author.

Finally, they go to a bakery to buy a cake for Sam. They see a delicious chocolate cake and buy it for him.

After shopping, Rani and Raghav are very hungry, but they have no more money to buy food! They have to walk home, but they are very tired. They decide to eat a small bite of Sam’s cake. However, it’s so delicious that they eat the whole cake!

They realized that they spent all their money on their things and now they have no gifts for Sam!
