The Helpful Elephant
Once there lived a woodcutter in a dense jungle. His name was Raghav. He was a very generous and hard-working man.
One day he saw a baby elephant near a big banana tree. Raghav understood that the baby elephant was very hungry and wanted bananas. Immediately he arranged bananas and gave some to the elephant. The elephant was very happy and soon they become friends. Raghav usually called him Chotu.
The next day Chotu was waiting for Raghav. But he did not come, so Chotu went to Raghav’s small hut. He saw that Raghav was unable to lift the heavy logs of wood, so Chotu happily agreed to help Raghav daily and he only wanted his bananas timely in return.
