Cyber Security is also known as Information technology security is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. Cybersecurity is very important in India because India has the second-largest number of internet users and every day more than 100 people face the problem of Cybercrime. Cybercrime is a crime that involves a computer and a network. There are many forms of Cybercrime like phishing, hacking, distributing child pornography, financial fraud etc.

Here are some ways by which we can prevent ourselves by Cyber crime :-
1. Use strong and unique passwords.
2. Install firewalls for your network.
3. Protect your e-identity.
4. Secure your wireless network.
5. Do not respond to spam mails.

Even If you are trapped in a Cybercrime, there is no need to panic. Just keep a record of all evidence of the incident and go to Cyber cell to file a complaint against it or you can even register your FIR at your nearest police station.
