Une expérience effrayante

As part of our Foreign language series, Disha Mukherjee of Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon is writing articles and stories in French for our Curious Community every week!

Je regarde un film d’horreur (horror film) avec mes parents. Mes parents ont faim (are hungry) et ils demandent (ask) quelque chose pour manger, alors (then) je vais dans la cuisine (the kitchen) pour prendre du pop corn.


Soudain (suddenly), toutes les lumières (lights) s’éteignent (switch off)! Il fait si sombre! (It is so dark!). J’ai si peur! (I am so scared!) Je crie  (shout) : « Maman et papa, où êtes-vous? » Mais il n’y a pas (there is no) de réponse (answer). Je commence (start)  à pleurer(to cry). Je demande au Dieu <<protège-moi (protect me) des fantômes (ghosts).>>.


“Crash!” J’entends (hear) un bruit (noise) dans le salon (living room) mais j’ai peur alors je prends un couteau (knife) dans la cuisine. Quand j’entre (enter) dans le salon, j’entends des murmures (whispers). 


Soudain, toutes les lumières s’allument (turn on) et il y a un grand bruit! Terrifié (terrified), je laisse tomber (drop) le couteau et tombe (fall) sur le sol (ground).


Alors, j’entends des gens chanter: <<Joyeux Anniversaire!>> Mes amis, ma famille et mes voisins sont ici avec un gâteau au chocolat pour fêter (to celebrate) mon anniversaire (birthday) ! Quelle surprise (What a surprise)!
