As a part of our Foreign language series, Disha Mukherjee of Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon is writing articles and stories in French for our Curious Community every week!

This story is recommended for Grades 4-5 students!


Une école(school) organise(organises) une exposition des animaux de compagnie(pet show) pour la classe 5. Tous(all) les élèves(students) amènent(bring) leurs(their) animaux de compagnie(pets) à la classe(to the class).


Shruti a(has) un chat(cat). Le nom(name) de(of) son chat est(is) Pogo. Il est petit(small), blanc(white) et(and) il a les yeux bleus(blue eyes). Il mange(eats) du poisson(fish) et il aime(likes) jouer(to play) avec(with) ses(his) jouets(toys).


Hasan a un chien(dog). Le nom de son chien est Rufus. Il est grand(big), brun(brown) et amical(friendly). Il mange du poulet(chicken) et il aime jouer avec les enfants(children).


Anmol a un perroquet(parrot). Son nom est Kiko. Il est verte(green) et il a une voix(voice) très forte(loud). Il peut(can) parler(talk) comme(like) des humains(humans)!


Ram a un poisson(fish). Son nom est Coco. Il est très(very) coloré(colourful) et il aime nager(swimming) dans(in) son(his) aquarium(aquarium).


L’exposition des animaux(pet show) est très(very) amusant(fun) et les élèves aiment jouer avec les animaux(animals).

Disha is a Dipsite fresh out of school and has been studying French for 7 years. She has a B2 diploma in french.
