World Oceans Day is observed to remind us of the major role the oceans have in our everyday life. This celebration is a part of the United Nations Environment Programme.

Oceans are the lungs of our Planet. They are a prominent source of food and medicine and a critical part of the biosphere. Did you know there is more life in oceans than land?

So how should we take care of the Life and Livelihoods of those who stay in and around the oceans? Yes, that’s the theme of 2021.

Do oceans make you nostalgic? Are those seas and oceans your favourite destinations? What is so special about the oceans?
