World Ozone Day!
Hello there, do you know what is to day today, it is World Ozone Day
IN1994, the UN General Assembly proclaimed 16 September the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, the date of the signing, in 1987, of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
Some facts are:
(1) Ozone is a highly reactive gas found in the upper layers of atmosphere and protects life on earth from the Sun’s ultraviolet rays.
(2) Minimizing of the use of cars will help ozone layer.
(3) We should buy local products, so there is less transporation. This will reduce carbon emmissions.
(4) We should avoid the consumption of gases dangerous to the ozone layer, like cfc and cloro floro carbon.
