The IPL 2021  (Indian Premier League) season is almost at an end. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are in the final and will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

On 13 October, KKR beat Delhi Capitals (DC) in Qualifier 2 by 3 wickets. The match was held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. DC had batted first, scoring 165 runs for 5 wickets. KKR was able to chase down the target. The player of the match was KKR’s Venkatesh Iyer.

CSK is led by former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni while English player Eoin Morgan is the captain of KKR.

Final match

Now, on 15 October, KKR will face CSK in the 2021 IPL finals to fight for their third IPL trophy. Delhi Capitals had a brilliant season but will have to wait for their first IPL trophy.

KKR has never lost an IPL final. They have reached there two times before (2012, 2014). CSK has won the IPL trophy 3 times and been the runner-up 5 times.
