We know that the first private mission Ax-1 has reached the International Space Station. The crew members will take part in many experiments that will happen at the ISS. One of the experiments is that they will help NASA in building a larger space liquid lens telescope. This program is called FLUTE (Fluidic Telescope Experiment). It will create a telescope with

The Fluidic Telescope Experiment (FLUTE) is a program that is designed to investigate the liquids that are used to construct telescope lenses.
If the FLUTE technique is approved, space telescopes will become a great thing for astronomers as it will become more powerful.
Ax-1 mission & liquid lens telescope
The Ax-1 mission is coordinated by the company Axiom Space has reached the International Space Station (ISS) with a crew of four passengers.
The astronaut Eytan Stibbe will perform an experiment demonstrating the FLUTE technology. He will create a lens from liquid polymers and harden it with ultraviolet light or temperature. They will use microgravity (the condition in which people or objects appear weightless) to aid in shaping the lens.
In microgravity, liquids take shapes that are useful for making lenses and mirrors. If the lenses are made in space, these could be used to build telescopes that are bigger than thought. Using the FLUTE program, the lens production process becomes easier.
If this experiment becomes successful, it will be the first time that an optical component will be made in space.
