A mushroom-shaped diamond ring has set a new Guinness World Record. The ring is created by Kerala’s SWA diamonds. The ring is called The Touch of Ami.
India-made diamond ring
The ring ‘The Touch of Ami’ has a total of 24,679 diamonds. It is manufactured in Malappuram and it is designed by Rijisha TV, a postgraduate from the National Institute of Design.
The model of the ring has been inspired by the pink oyster mushroom which stands for eternity. The Guinness World Records entered it in the ‘most diamonds set in one ring’ category. The ring got ready in 90 days.
SWA Diamonds were launched by Capestone. The company is proud that this title is achieved in Kerala. It is a great achievement that the award-winning jewellery piece came from Kerala. The ring ‘Touch of Ami’ marks a rise in entrepreneurship in the diamond sector of our state.
