The residents of a town in Queensland, Australia first noticed a 2-metre crocodile carrying a turtle on his back.
In another sighting, a crocodile was observed lazing in the sun with a turtle on its back on the banks of a river.
The residents who saw this remarkable scene were curious and snapped their pictures.
Experts on crocodile conversation stated that they had never seen anything like this before.
Saltwater crocodiles in freshwater environments enjoy eating turtles, which is one of their favourite foods.
However, as per experts, it is possible that low temperature makes the crocodile focus on sunbathing than eating the turtle.
Thus the abnormally chilly weather could be the reason for the unexpected bond.
