Drumstick (or ‘Moringa’) is thought to be very healthy by Indians. We are guessing your grandmother or elders always tells you to eat it! The researchers from the National Centre for Biological Sciences and the University of Transdisciplinary Health Sciences and Technology found out the amazing health benefits of drumsticks.
As many as 8 things in the Moringa’s ‘sticks’, leaves, flowers, stem and root make it healthy!

- Moringine – helps hormonal* balance and lose weight.
What are hormones?
Hormones are similar to chemicals, but are naturally made by our body.
- Quercetin – helps metabolism (how fast your body converts food into energy).
- Kaempferol and Oleanolic acid – help fight cancer.
- Iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium – minerals the body needs in small amounts to be healthy.
