According to the media company Time Out, San Francisco in the US is the “world’s best city”. Time Out is the company that publishes the Time Out magazine.
What is the Time Out global magazine?
This magazine lists the best art and entertainment, food and drink, attractions, hotels and things to do in the world’s greatest cities.
Time Out’s network of editors from across the world rated each city’s nightlife, restaurants and cultural highlights to choose the best. They also considered each city’s sense of community and their commitment to saving the environment.
Time Out says San Francisco’s “unbeatable combination of progressiveness, acceptance and sustainability” made it reach the world’s best city. Moreover, this year, they also considered how a city adapted to the pandemic.
Other cities in the world’s best city list
Other cities in the top 5 include Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Manchester in England, Copenhagen in Denmark and New York City in the US. The only Asian city in the top ten is Tokyo, Japan.
