What is JEE-Main?

The JEE-Main stands for Joint Entrance Examination-Main. This exam is conducted for admission to engineering colleges across the country.

Earlier, the exam was held once a year in April. But starting this year, the NTA (National Testing Agency) is conducting it four times a year. This will give students more flexibility to students and chances to improve their scores.

The JEE-Main in 2021

In 2021, NTA conducted the first two phases in February and March. After that, the schedule was for April and May but they got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, they held the third edition in July and the fourth from 26 August to 2 September.

They conducted the exam in 13 languages. They include English, Hindi, Assamese, and Urdu. Over 9.34 lakh students in total appeared in the four editions of JEE-Main this year. And now they have declared the results.
