The goals were scored by Megan Rapinoe (penalty) and Rose Lavelle.
 	The Player of the Match was Megan Rapinoe.

This was only the second World Cup appearance for the Netherlands and they put up a good fight.

But the US, playing in their third consecutive final, were too strong as they added to their World Cup titles of 1991, 1999 and 2015.

The United States' Megan Rapinoe won the Golden Boot (the prize for the highest goal scorer in the tournament). after finishing with six goals.
 	The Netherlands' goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal won the Golden Glove for the most saves in the tournament.
 	The FIFA Young Player of the tournament was awarded to Giulia Gwinn of Germany.

US player Megan Rapinoe is the second player in history to start three Women's World Cup finals (2011, 2015, 2019) after Germany's Birgit Prinz (1995, 2003, 2007).

The US scored 26 goals at this tournament, the most by a team at a single tournament in the competition's history.
