2021 IPL: It’s almost time for the playoffs

As the end of the 2021 IPL (Indian Premier League) season nears, things are heating up in the United Arab Emirates.
It’s almost time for the playoffs. This is the final round where the 4 teams at the top of the table will play against each other to decide who wins the 2021 IPL.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) became the first team to qualify. Then the next came Delhi Capitals (DC), followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Now only one spot is left for the playoffs.
So, who will make it to the final spot of the playoffs of the 2021 IPL?
Kolkata Knight Royals seem set to enter playoffs as the 4th team. They are currently 4th on the table .
However, two-time defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) could still make it to the playoffs. They need to win over bottom-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the last league match of the 2021 IPL in Abu Dhabi on 8 October. And they need to win by a big margin with an excellent run rate.
Apart from SRH vs MI, there will be another match on 8 October at the same time. That will be DC vs RCB.
2021 IPL playoff matches
The first playoff match will be on 11 October and the second will be on 13 October. The winners of the two matches will face each other in the final match on 15 October.
