A promising treatment for Type 1 Diabetes
Brian Shelton, a US citizen was suffering from severe Type-1 Diabetes for 50 years. In addition, his blood sugar levels would drop low enough to sometimes leave Brian unconscious. Above all, his life was dictated by his blood sugar levels.
What is blood sugar level?
Blood sugar level is the measure of glucose concentrated in the blood of humans or other animals.
A pharmaceutical company was looking for volunteers to experiment. Brian participated in this experiment. So, his body was given new cells using the process of infusion. As an outcome of this experiment on Brian’s body, his natural ability to create and monitor insulin was restored.
These results, although, are at an early stage. But they do show a lot of promise.

Type 1 diabetes is characterized by deficient insulin production in the body. Symptoms include excessive excretion of urine, thirst, constant hunger, weight loss, vision changes, and fatigue.
