Can a whale talk? Let’s find out!

The beluga whale is a type of whale that is found in the cold waters around the Arctic circle. It is white in colour. This whale is playful and lives in large groups. They talk with each other using high-pitched calls.

Beluga whales can also be seen in aquariums around the world. Aquariums are like zoos where you can see fish and other sea animals.

Recently, at an aquarium in Taiwan, a beluga surprised a little boy. As you can see in the video, the playful animal was in his glass display. When the boy went near him, the beluga pressed its face on the glass and opened its mouth as if it is saying “hello”. The boy got shocked, making people around him laugh.

Beluga whales are known for being very smart. It once even returned a cellphone that had fallen into the water.

Can animals behave like humans at times? In fact, some of them too! They look after their babies likes us, adopt other animals, laugh like us, talk like us and some are almost as intelligent as humans.
