Achievement: 11-year-old girl is one of the world’s brightest students
Recommended for Preparatory Grades
An amazing achievement
Natasha Peri is an Indian-American girl who is currently studying in Grade 5. A top university in the United States has declared that she is one of the brightest students in the world.
Natasha is currently studying at the Thelma L Sandmeier Elementary School in New Jersey, US. Even though she is just 11-years-old, she passed two very difficult tests called SAT and ACT in 2021. Colleges use the scores of these two tests to decide whether to accept a student for admission or not. So, as you can see, she is already able to do college-level tests!
Talented Youth Search 2020-2021
Natasha took the SAT and ACT tests as a part of a talent search. The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) conducts this test to find brilliant students like Natasha. In the test, she scored better than students from Grade 8 who took the same test.
Natasha was one among 19,000 youths who joined CTY in 2020-2021. She did so well on the tests that she won the John Hopkins High Honor Awards. Natasha said that doodling and reading novels have helped her in her amazing achievement. Doodling means to draw lines, patterns, etc. without thinking, especially when you are bored.
