China’s economic growth is at the lowest level in 27 years

China’s economic growth is at the lowest level in 27 yearsThe economic growth rate of the world's second-largest economy is down to its lowest in nearly 30 years

According to government figures released on Monday, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew at 6.2% in the second quarter (April-June)
 	This is slowest quarterly growth rate since 1992
 	It has gone down from 6.4% in the previous quarter (Jan-March)
 	China's slow growth rate may have a negative effect on the global economy as well.

Experts say that China is also feeling the effects of a prolonged trade war with the United States.

They have placed tariffs (duties) on each other's goods which are hurting not only their businesses but also the world economy.
 	US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping met at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan last month and agreed to continue trade talks to find solutions

Experts feel that the Chinese economy will continue to face pressure in the second half of this year.
