India recorded 42,625 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are over 4 lakh active cases in India. Till now, Maharashtra has reported the highest number of cases, followed by Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

What is the R-factor?
The ‘R’ factor (or R-factor) is a measure of how many more people are being infected by one infected person. For example, an ‘R’ factor of 1.0 means that one person with COVID-19 will, on average, infect one more person. The R-factor is being used to track and control the spread of the virus.
