Sophie Devine hits 100 sixes in Women’s Big Bash League

Sophie Devine is a cricketer from New Zealand. She has created a record by hitting 100 sixes in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia.
What is the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL)?
The WBBL is the women’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia. There is also a similarly-named men’s Big Bash League (BBL).
This competition is similar to the Indian Premier League which is also a T20 cricket competition.
WBBL features eight city-based teams. The teams are made up of current and former Australian national team members, Australia’s best young talent, and up to three overseas players. The Sydney Sixers are currently the most successful team.
Sophie Devine plays for the team, Perth Scorchers. She crossed the record of 100 sixes when she played against Melbourne Renegades on Saturday. In the match, she scored 77 runs, which included 3 sixes, taking her past the 100 sixes mark.
Devine has played 74 matches in the WBBL and now she has a total of 101 sixes to her name. She has scored 2,433 runs in the WBBL overall.
