Inspirational Paralympian – Bhavinaben Patel.

Bhavinaben Patel is a table tennis player from Mehsana, Gujarat. She has created history by becoming the first Indian to enter the final of a table tennis event in the Paralympics. She won the semi-final over China’s Miao Zhang on Saturday.

Bhavaniben is currently at second rank in the world. Over the years, this inspirational Paralympian has won many medals. She won a silver medal at the Asian Para Table Tennis Championship held in Beijing in 2013. Moreover, she also won a bronze medal at the Asian Para Table Tennis Championship in Beijing in 2017.

Bhavani has been playing table tennis for over 20 years. And this inspirational Paralympian is currently coached by Lalan Doshi.

Now, Bhavani is currently set to play the finals on Sunday against Chinese player Ying Zhou. So, India could get its first gold medal in table tennis at the Paralympics. So, let’s wish her the very best!

Medal tally at Tokyo Paralympics

China is in the first position, followed by Great Britain and Russia. India could also see its first medal soon as Bhavinaben Patel plays in the finals of table tennis.
