Baidu’s electric vehicle (EV) unit known as Jidu Auto showcased a “robot” concept car. It’s called ROBO-01. An online news conference was organised on the metaverse-themed app ‘Xirang’ to introduce the concept vehicle.

• ROBO-01 will have Level 4 self-driving capabilities that don’t need any help from a person.
• The car doesn’t have door handles, and you can do everything with just your voice.
• Users will be able to get voice help even when they don’t have a good internet connection.
• In 2023, Jidu will put the car on the market. Also, in almost every way, it will be the same as the concept car.
• The company says ROBO-01 can be “trained.” So, it gets better as it is used because it uses another technology.
• As it talks to people, the vehicle will also be able to show a range of emotions.
• The ROBO-01 was made to meet users’ needs for intelligent transportation, intelligent support while in the car, and an intelligent cabin in the new era.
