NEOM launches ENOWA to ensure sustainable energy and water systems
NEOM is a future city to be built in the Tabuk province of Saudi Arabia. It will incorporate smart city technologies and will function as a tourist destination.
NEOM launches its subsidiary company
NEOM has launched a subsidiary company called ENOWA. This company will develop sustainable energy and water systems in the new city. NEOM has announced some key projects:
- THE LINE for the city’s urban development.
- OXAGON, the industrial city. It is seeking tenants for its manufacturing hub.
- TROJENA to maintain tourism destination.
The goal of NEOM city is to ensure that all the residents and industries in the new city are powered by 100% affordable energy. This will be the first project in the world.
The purpose of ENOWA company
The company ENOWA represents NEOM as the principal shareholder in the world’s largest green hydrogen production plant. Their goal is to make NEOM a hub for green hydrogen production and innovation. The green hydrogen will be exported and used in NEOM for a variety of solutions.
The water system in NEOM is designed to be completely sustainable. It will deliver low-cost water to all the residents and businesses in NEOM.
The creation of ENOWA is a significant development for NEOM city. It will also achieve the nation’s goal for net-zero emissions by 2060.
ENOWA forms an integral part of NEOM’s success. By using renewable energy, ENOWA has become a global point for industrial leaders.
